About Us
What started out as a passion to serve and a love of nature turned into our local, family-owned business. The business was established by Thomas and Anna Kasprzycki in Pleasant Lake, Michigan. We wanted to serve our customers with fair prices, hard work, and professionalism. As of now, we offer tree trimming, removal, chipping, splitting, and stump grinding. In the near future, we plan on utilizing a combination of talent to start repurposing the wood for other items besides just firewood. Personalized charcuterie boards, ornaments, coasters, memorial gifts, and more. They will all be personalized and delivered to your door with an easy to use online portal. Today we serve Ingham, Jackson, and Washtenaw counties with plans for expansion. Please take a minute and enjoy our story below.
Our Journey
Thomas grew up in Pleasant Lake, Michigan, and continues to reside and operate out of his hometown. As a young child, Tom enjoyed assisting his father on the golf course with any work that needed to be done. As he grew older so did his responsibilities. He began to plant and maintain a large and beautiful collection of trees and bushes throughout a 27-hole golf course. Over 40 years later, Tom's 40 years of experience and love for nature along with Anna's education in the field of business spun into what we today know as One Man and a Lift LLC. Tom along with his wife and sons maintain properties and service customers throughout Ingham, Jackson, and Washtenaw counties. Services currently offered include trimming, pruning, chipping, splitting, removal, and stump grinding. The future holds many possibilities and we hope you will come along with us for the ride.
Our Vision & Mission
Our vision for OML Tree Services is a constant work in process. We envision working with our clients to help them achieve their goals. In doing this we plan to work with helping with clients to prune, trim, chip, split or remove trees and stumps to create a picturesque landscape. How we do it is what is the key. We plan on making tree services something most people can afford instead of an out-of-reach thought.
The mission is simple, to provide quality, on-time, dependable services that you can not only count on but afford.
